Importing into Lightroom

1. Copy as DNG – The image you choose will be copied to the destination you choose in Adobe's universal          DNG format
Copy – The image you choose will be copied to the destination you choose in the original file format.
Move –The image files will be moved from the original location to a specifiend location in the original file format. This option is unavailable when Importing from a memory card.
Add - Files will not be copied or moved to a new location. Instead, Lightroom will simply add them to your working Catalog. This option is also unavailable when importing from a memory card or USB flash drive.

2. The option "Make a Second Copy To" is available if you choose Copy as DNG, Copy, or Move as your import methods. It doesn't work with Add.

3. There are two subfolders that determine where your files are stored. First is the "Into Subfolder" option which lets Lightroom create subfolders for you and then theres a drop-down with two options: Organize by Date and Organize Into one Folder.
